Patta and Helinox have teamed up once again for a special collaborative release, merging heritage and modern design into a unique product that speaks to both craftsmanship and cultural pride.

The collaboration between Patta and Helinox features the Helinox Chair One, inspired by the Surinamese Pangi cloth, a culturally significant garment of the Maroon communities. The Patta x Helinox Chair One is portable, lightweight, and easy to set up, offering comfort in any environment with breathable, packable, and durable materials, along with added carry options and storage.

This specific Pangi cloth, owned by Patta’s co-founder Guillaume Schmidt’s late father, adds a personal and historical touch. The Pangi, known as 'Kosu' in Saamaka, has evolved from a symbol of inferiority to one of freedom and pride, reflecting the resilience of Suriname’s interior communities.
